About our Education Foundation

Fayette County Farm Bureau Education Foundation, Inc. began in 1996 as a non-profit organization seeking to make a difference in students’ lives and in our local community’s future. Our goal is to identify, through a competitive application and interview process, Fayette County students who have excelled in academic, extracurricular, and/or agricultural activities, and who are likely to make an impact on our present and future Bluegrass Area. We provide scholarship support to selected individuals for a maximum of eight consecutive semesters of undergraduate studies.

CARES Act Impact for 2020

It’s the end of the year! The Education Foundation could use your help to give away MORE scholarships. The CARES Act tax provision for this year allows any person who itemizes deductions to deduct 100% of their charitable contributions (instead of the normal 60% of AGI) and standard deductions of up to $300 of charitable contributions. Take advantage of this time to donate to our 501c3 Fayette County Farm Bureau Education Foundation. ALL proceeds go to individuals in Fayette County pursuing higher education.
